When I first got my HP laptop I was getting about 2-1/2 hrs. of usage from its factory battery. I was only getting about 45 min. when I decided to get a new one. I'm now getting over 4 hrs. with this battery. It's really great! The only issue I have is that since it's an 8 cell battery it makes the laptop fairly heavy. With the increased battery life the extra weight is worth it. I feel the cost was also excellent. -- Great battery!

I decided to get this battery for when I go to college. With my old OEM battery, I was able to get around three to four hours of runtime. With this battery, I can get anywhere from five to six hours on one charge. In addition to this battery, I have made some other upgrades to my laptop. An Intel SSD helped prolong the amount of time I could run on one charge, and I removed the other secondary HDD from my laptop, and purchased an external HDD. With this, it increased runtime for about an hour and a half. Windows 7 also does an excellent job when I have it on the Power Saving power plan. Here's my specs...
