Received the battery on time, only strange thing is that I bought a new battery this one came bubble wrapped with no hp package, that left me with a bad spine. -- HP battery

Replaced my orginal battery with this one. My old battery was having issues with life even though it was barely over a year old. My wife has the same one I had and she has no issues. I went ahead and replace both batteries with this and I am seeing life of 5-6 hours (maybe even longer)with constant use. Glad I upgraded to this battery. Companies should be making these standard issue with laptops. -- Love the extended time.

I'm a college student and the ability for me to increase the functionality and mobility of my laptop from morning until night without the need to haul around an charger cord is crucial. This battery does just the trick. This extended HP battery combined with the original one that comes with the laptop gives me a combined laptop usage between 8-10 hours depending on what I'm using the laptop for. Usinglife with the extended one and the original combined, or a good 6 hours with just the extended battery. moderate to minimal LCD light setting and headphones instead of speaker, I can milk a cool 10 hours of battery life. If you're someone who needs your laptop to work for long hours and you hate the thought of carrying around a damn cord with you all the time, get this battery. The $100 is an economical and smart investment to maximize the full usage and potential of your far more costly laptop, without which you minimize its functionality and mobility -- so the question is, why not?
