Great battery. Gives me at least 3 hours of use in the Power Saver mode while surfing the web on WIFI network. I use the orginally supplied laptop battery as a backup if I need a total of 5 hours use where electrical outlets aren't available.

After I bought this battery I found that there were other batteries available on Amazon that cost less and had even more battery storage capacity. So, shop around! -- Excellent battery for Toshiba laptop

I did purchase extra battery because I often use my computer where is no AC outlet. I just swap the battery and I'm good for few more hrs. Then when I'm back in home, I charge this two battery. -- Excelent Notebook Battery by Toshiba

actually i bought it 2 weeks ago it's working fine till now giving me about 3.5 hours working with WIFI on , so it's a good option for who travels a lot . -- Toshiba battery

Ok, so I've had this battery since I received it in the mail around the 1st of February. This battery has exceeded my expectations. I have had my laptop (A205-S4707) since Christmas of 2007. The battery that came with it would get a max charge of around 2.5 hours, even when it was new. But just a few months ago, I noticed that the life of that battery had gone down significally to holding only ~1-1.5 hours of life. Then about a month or so ago, the battery just would not hold a charge for more than 30 minutes. I'm figuring that this is mainly because of my extended usage of my laptop (I use my laptop at least once a day for at least one hour) and due to me playing games on it at least several times a week (World of Warcraft, etc.).

This battery was like a god-send when I first plugged attached it and plugged it in. I found out that this battery could hold at least a 2.5 hour charge on the "high performance" setting, even while playing power/graphics heavy games! If I have the laptop on high performance and leave it alone for like 5 minutes with no apps running, I look at the battery life and it says that it has 4+ hours left! My default battery couldn't even do that when it was brand new!

Another plus, besides the battery life, is that there is a sturdy bar that is part of the battery that gives the laptop a bit of lift in the back to allow for a better angle for typing on the keyboard and to allow for better airflow while it is stationed on a desk. This has helped me a lot because since I play a lot of computer games on this laptop, it tends to get hot and this extra space underneath the fan area helps keep it a bit cooler.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'm sure it will last at least the length of time as my old battery and will probably be able to hold charges better for a longer period of time.
